Pastel Gardens

Studies of natural forms and floral shapes made in oil pastel on paper to reveal dense, velvety colour.

Spring blossoms, land forms, and meadows built up in layers of oil pastel, so the colour sinks into the tooth of the paper and the edges stay soft and loose.
