Phillips Auction House: Community Pride Portraits

I partnered with Phillips Auction House for their inaugural Pride activation in 2023, creating live-drawn community portraits at Hudson River Park in New York City. Together with Phillips’ team, led by Iznara Benoit Kornhauser, we designed an installation inspired by an analog photo booth—reimagined as a pop-up portrait studio on the pier. Visitors were invited to sit for spontaneous 1–2 minute line drawings—drawn by me—in place of traditional photographs. The event brought a vibrant, joyful energy to the waterfront during Pride Week, offering a moment of connection and creativity.
